About Us
Burnsides Community Health Center opened its doors in 1963 as Burnsides Nursing Home. Ethel Burnsides was the benefactress.
Burnsides is a not-for-profit facility and is not owned by a corporation. It is managed by a Board of Directors made up of local men and women in our community.
Burnsides accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay, and Managed Care residents. Skilled and intermediate levels of care are available.
Respite care is offered for short term needs.
Cork Medical Center is located next door to our facility. It is connected by a hallway, so that residents do not need to go outdoors in inclement weather to see their physicians.
