Burnsides would like to welcome the following new residents admitted
in the past month: Norma Sweitzer, Charles “Bob” Morecraft, Eva
Blockinger, and Robert “Bob” Jenkins. There were seven other
residents who were admitted in the past two months who did not want
their names in the newspaper. Best wishes to Harry Remlinger,
Dorothy Moore, and Avis Sutton who were both admitted to Burnsides and
discharged to home within the past two months. There were five
additional residents discharged to home in the past two months who did
not want their names in the paper as well as Juanita McNary. Heartfelt
sympathy goes to the families of Earl “Bud” Chapman, Rosanna Krock,
Dorothy Bermingham, Leah Logsdon, Dean McConchie, Herbert Shaffner,
Lorene Spittler, and Harold Ellshoff.
Burnsides would like to welcome the following new employees: Anne
Kane, RN; John Heleine, LPN; Debra Gill, Administrator; Marisa Pickens,
Dietary Aide; and the following CNA’s: Moreena Powell, Danielle
Drum, Lindsey Davis, Shasta Kemper, and Wendy Richards.
Resident birthdays for the month of May are: 4th-Dorothy Dardeen
and 22nd-June Kenderdine. Two other residents with May birthdays
did not want their names in the paper.
Guild hours for February were 46 hours among 18 workers. March
hours were 30 hours among 16 workers. April hours were 37 hours
among 17 workers. Guild members who delivered mail to the
residents in February, March, and April were Margaret Mallory, Jean
Loper, Shirley Dawson, Mary E. Macke, Jan Jones, Carolyn Ralston, Edith
York, Virginia Dean, Polly Logan, Patty Marrs, and Edna Douglas.
Church Hostesses in February, March, and April were Norma Cline, Mary E.
Macke, Edna Douglas, Margaret Mallory, Patty Marrs, Kay Williams, and
Carolyn Ralston. Bingo Helpers in February, March, and April were
Kay Williams, Mary E. Macke, Helen Wernz, Ena Sullins, Shirley Dawson,
Margaret Mallory, Polly Logan, and Virginia Dean. Guild members
who assisted in other activities in February, March or April were Linda
Lambert, Reta Bumpus, Ena Sullins, Virginia Dean, Helen Wernz, Georgia
Wendte, Norma Cline, Nancy Salisbury, Shirley Dawson, and Kay Williams.
