Burnsides Community Health Center News
Burnsides would like to welcome the following new residents who were
admitted during the past month: Margaret Hutson and Fenton Macke.
Best wishes to Dolly McKeehan, Robert "Bob" Boyer, and George "Burt" Lee
who were admitted and discharged within the past month. Also
discharged to home in the past month were Marie Gaines, Hazel Keller,
Dorothy Braynard, Edna "Flo" Reed, and another resident who did not want
his name in the paper. There was one additional resident admitted
in March who did not want her name in the paper. Heartfelt
sympathy goes to the families of Guy Tingley, Gibson "Jack" Mallory,
Glorine Norton, Barbara J. Morgan, Leanore Linn, Frank Bubeck, and Nancy
C. Smith.
Burnsides would like to welcome the following new staff members:
Jana Matzke, CNA; Liz Price, CNA: Donna Parker, RN; Kathy Farris,
Laundry Aide; and Kay Roberts, Housekeeping.
Resident birthdays for the month of April are as follows:
1st-Clara Chilton; 2nd-Ruby Woll (103rd
birthday!!!); 4th-Edna Schwartz, 7th-Mary Faye Hollingsworth;
8th-Dorothy O. Miller; 10th-Fern Tohill; 11th-Floyd Rayhel; 26th-Reva
Sligar; and 28th-Paul Wagoner. Anyone who wishes to send a

Guild hours for the month of February were 42 hours among 23 workers.
Guild members who delivered meals to residents in February were Dorothea
Bland, Margaret Pine, Mary Ann Stepp, Jean Loper, Patty Marrs, Wanda
Wallace, Betty Beard, and Jan Jones. Church Hostesses in February
were Reta Bumpus, Helen Wernz, Eva Blockinger, Kay Williams, Patty
Marrs, Virginia Dean, Carolyn Ralston, Linda Romines, Helen Farris,
Margaret Mallory, Betty Beard, and Margaret Pine. Bingo Helpers in
February were Carole Warner, Rosa McKinney, Cecile Ramsey, Faye Baggs,
Eva Blockinger, Mary Elizabeth Macke, Ena Sullins, and Margaret Mallory.
Guild members who participated in other activities in February were
